refuel agency embarked on a nationwide campus fitness tour to promote MAXIM Magazine & Body Fortress fitness products
The team hit 10 major campuses across the country reaching thousands of students through competitive physical challenges, branding activities and product sampling. Students competed in four different physical challenges with points being accrued and prizes awarded to the top scorers. Highest scoring male and female from each school were entered for a chance to win an all expense paid trip to MAXIM’s Spring Break 2013 in Panama City Beach, FL.
A large on-campus media presence included hand-to-hand delivered post cards, posters, window clings, college newspaper and radio pre-promotion to extend and saturate the brands message throughout campus.
A strong push for Facebook and Twitter ‘likes’, ‘mentions’ and ‘follows’ expanded the tour branding in to the social media space.
Body Fortress’s Facebook and Twitter pages saw over 20% jumps in ‘likes’ and ‘followers’ respectively.
